How to apply

Visit any Sharjah Co-Operative Society main branch or our Head Office  

 Visit any Sharjah Co-Operative Society branch or our Head Office. A temporary card will be issued

Annual return rate 

·         10- 20 % of member’s annual purchase amount at Sharjah Co-op branches, including online.

·         100AED for every 10 shares owned

 Code S

·         For a total annual purchase amount of AED12,000 and above, the member will get 4-5%.

·         For a total annual purchase amount of between AED3,000-AED11,999, a total of 3% will be paid.

·         If the total annual purchase amount is less than AED 3,000 there will not be any rebate.

 

Code W

·         For a total annual purchase amount above AED3,000, a total of 3% will be paid.

·         If the total annual purchase amount is less than AED 3,000 there will not be any rebate.

 

Note : If a member is eligible for any profits for the year, Sharjah Co-operative  will give the list of qualifying members to Sharjah Islamic bank and the Bank will issue those cards and contact the customer to receive their card.

9-      Multi bank cards (2 cards) are available for family use

10-   Shareholders will get a return for their shares and return on their purchases according to the agreed return rate decided at the Sharjah Co-Operative annual board meeting.

1-      Members must show their card with all transactions for their purchases to be recorded,

2-      It is advised to register with your membership number on www.sharjahcoop.ae for any online purchases

3-      It is available for personal use only

4-      Card number should be printed on all purchase receipts  to avail the benefit

5-      Replacement of card to be arranged through the bank if card lost

6-      For replacement of card you will need to show your passport and fill the required application and pay any replacement fees

7-      If transaction was not recorded, the member will need to present the proof of purchase to Sharjah Co-Operative Head Office  to update the system records

8-      In case any of change to your contact details, you will need to contact us as soon as possible to update our records.

Important notes:

 

 

1-      A customer must be an active member at least once during the year and meet the relevant qualifying thresholds to be entitled for their earnings by the end of the year.

2-      Eligible customers can have two cards, silver and gold, with two separate accounts.

3-      After Bank card activation, the member will receive their earnings within 3 working days.

4-      Sharjah Islamic bank will charge Silver Card Holders an annual fee of AED 25.

5-      If a member has made any purchase and forgot to add this amount to their card/account, they can visit the branch with the receipt and membership card and it will be sent to the Shareholder Team to add those points to the account (Within 1 Month of Purchase date). In the case of online purchases, please contact our Customer Care Department on 600 548884.

6-      If a member want to cancel their Gold membership, they will need to sell their shares to another shareholder. Their bank account will remain active but their Sharjah Co-Operative account will be deactivated and will not be given to any other customer.

7-      For Twin Gold Cards, members will not be charged for the activation of the second card but there will an annual charge of 25AED.
