Lessons From Life Part 1

This new work from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum brings together reflections on more than half a century of leadership, service, and nation-building. Across these pages, Sheikh Mohammed distils the insights of six decades in public life: years of challenge and triumph, of crises overcome and opportunities seized, and the blessings of family and nationhood. At its heart lies a central question: What has life taught me? The answers come through stories, lessons, and observations that reveal both the statesman and the man. They speak to the vision that transformed Dubai into a global city and the United Arab Emirates into a model of unity, prosperity, and innovation. They also reflect on the values that sustain leadership: perseverance, humility, and an unwavering trust in God as the source of all success.
